Updating inbox error message
Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Technet Web site.
If you choose to participate, the online survey will be presented to you when you leave the Technet Web site.
I don't want to use something premade, I want to create the solution myself but I just need a push in the right direction. Yes, you'll need to use a combination of ajax and web services.
Should I use some sort of combination of ajax and webservices? Make an ajax method that fires off every few seconds and hits a web service endpoint which returns the number of unread messages in the inbox.
(Haven't tried this yet) I also cannot access outlook on my Windows Phone 8 Nokia 920 or Windows 8 PC Mail app, signed in with my Microsoft Account.
You need to request write permission at the Web scope in the App manifest. Lewis PS - As this bug seems to be cross-platform, perhaps we (read: someone with authority - probably you, David) should change it from "Windows XP" to "All." Scratch that. I closed SM, removed both the old and the restored version of the file (thus disabling my filters), and even turned off Junk Mail controls. Currently if you receive a new message the unread message count in the navigation isn't updated until the page is refreshed.
